Stephen King is one of the most persuasive creators of today. His honor winning books and short stories are known world - wide. His numerous honors and designations have made a space for him in the artistic world. Ruler is a genuine â€Å"Horror King†, for his books, turned motion pictures, have frightened millions around the world. Stephen King has carried America to unmistakable quality through his numerous books, papers and short stories. Stephen Edwin King was conceived on September 21, 1947 at the Maine General Hospital in Portland, Maine. His folks were Donald Edwin King and Ruth Pillsbury King. Stephen being the main common conceived youngster in the family and his more seasoned sibling David having been received during childbirth two years sooner. â€Å"The Kings were the run of the mill, â€Å"nuclear† group of the fifties until one night when Donald King said he was venturing out for cigarettes and was never gotten notification from again.† At this point Ruth took over raising the family with assistance from different family members of the family. In 1966, Stephen King moved on from secondary school and took a grant to go to the University of Maine.
